Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch C923
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 1, 2023 (edited October 2, 2023)On the nose it's sweet and oaky, moreso than the average ECBP, with brown sugar and a hint of cherry. On the palate it's smooth for the proof, but the heat is there. There are baking spices and the hint of cherry from the nose comes through. The finish is long with a nice Kentucky hug.75.0 USD per Bottle -
Little Book Chapter 7: In Retrospect
Blended American Whiskey — USA
Reviewed September 28, 2023 (edited November 14, 2023)The nose is fruit forward with cinnamon apples and pear, but with a hint of malt and cereal. On the palate it's rich and heavy with caramel and brown sugar. Initially the spice is light, but it begins to build more and more for a long lasting finish.175.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed July 29, 2023 (edited July 31, 2023)The best of the ASW line. Nose is ethanol forward with heavy brown sugar, and pepper. The palate is thick with heavy mouthfeel. I get oak, spice, and caramel. Finish is medium long. -
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye (2023 Release)
Rye — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed July 23, 2023Citrus, caramel, char, and interestingly cinnamon apple on the nose. The palate is spicy at 137 proof, but the heat yields to a buttery vanilla and unmistakable rye spearmint. The finish is long and enjoyable. I liked this a lot more than I expected. Bravo jack daniels!72.0 USD per Bottle
