On of the BEST Bookers in their 2015 releases. 2015-2 is comparable, but the viscosity makes it the stand out.

With a few drops of water, it becomes instantly more flavorful than the 10. Almost identical in flavor profile, but the flavors come through more boldly

As long as you taste this with no other influences, it's great. Just make sure you have no other bourbons on your palate and you will taste Werthers originals/butterscotch, caramel, white sugar and oak. It's nice, but overpriced and easily dominated.

This is a great alternative for when you can't find George T.

Overpriced and Overhyped. If you like throwing money away, this is a good intro into Peaty scotch. Except, it's not very peaty. This will appeal to someone that wants to appear to like Islay without having to actually drink Islay, and wants to show off how much money they can spend on liquor.

For $45 a bottle, you can't go wrong with this Islay Single Malt. It's a great campfire scotch.

Disappointing. I'm a huge fan of the 21 & the barrel proof. The oak comes through so beautifully. This, there's not much more than chemical coming through on this one. Definitely try before you buy. 2nd tasting: Nail Polish remover on the nose. Spicy in the mouth. Vanilla & caramel I hear about are non-existent.

I really wanted to like this. The flavors I get are difficult to describe. It comes across very musty and muted, perhaps fungus-y. I get no oak, no vanilla, none of the flavors I see described. Just an odd sour character.

Yes, I know it has color added, but I don't care! Oh the smoke; the brine...the everything. For me, it just doesn't get any better than this. If I could only drink one whisky for the rest of my life, this would be it. Thank you Ron Swanson for introducing this to me years ago.
