Nose- lightly astringent Body- light citrus, light vanilla but with a wet paper flavor that goes along with rice whiskies Finish- makes my mouth feel dry with the taste of licked envelopes Rice whiskies are not for me.

Nose- well balanced sweet and spicy with orange and sugar with a hint of rye black pepper Body- Lots of tingle. What proof is this?! Really nice mix of rye pepper and sugary sweetness. Finish- the sweetness continues with notes of rich sweet tea and orange marmalade. There are herbal/ floral notes there and they go very well with the sweetness. This is delicious. Enjoyed this after the maiden voyage of Dee’s Permission with Travis and Dan.

Nose- Very sweet corn notes with a bit of caramel Body- Full bodied with sweet corn, vanilla, nutmeg and finally dark chocolate. Finish- Bitter cocoa with a hint of fresh green grass and mint Ok straight. This is a very good whiskey for a sweeter old fashioned.

Look- I don’t usually do a note on the look of a whiskey but holy crap. This one is remarkable there is a beautiful pink hue to the dram that reminds me of rose champagne. Nose- Yep, rose champagne continues in the nose. Sweet with a tangy zest. Very fruity. Body- Sweet as one might expect with this distillery but not cloyingly so as I have noticed in some renditions such as Lasanta. This is very pleasant. The port presence is clear but again comes off more as a champagne sweetness than a thick red wine. I get a lot of dark rich fruit such as cherry and pomegranate. However, this time the fruit isn’t overripe. Finish- Medium finish. The fruit notes give way to honey and a grassy freshness. Maybe I just had a taste for it but this is the most enjoyable Glenmorangie that I have had. Very sweet but well balanced. This would go great paired with a heavy meal.

Nose- Very sweet floral honeysuckle with a hint of orange zest Body- Incredibly smooth with a candy like sweetness. Very simplistic with a sugar water like quality. Finish- Very short. The sweetness gives way to a light citrus zest bitterness and then it is gone. -This is a whiskey seriously lacking in depth and complexity but damn it is a dangerously easy drink. I don’t dislike it.

Nose- A bit of vanilla, honey, and orange zest. Body- Very sweet and slightly tart. Finish- There are some malty notes here of cappuccino. A nice dream but fairly unremarkable.

Nose- Vanilla and brown sugar. Body- Fresh peanut and vanilla Finish- rich warm brown sugar with just a hint of bitterness

Nose- fairly astringent with strong brown sugar Body-Strong brown sugar and burn continue. Actually tastes higher proof than it is. Finish- The best part, sweet brown sugar, cinnamon, and just really nice. The more I drink the more I like it.

Nose- smells a bit young with sweet grain, honey and lemon Body- peanut shell and sweet grass turn to a peppery finish Finish- Black pepper gradually fades Young tasting but nice
