Reviewed June 25, 2018 (edited October 12, 2018)Nose: maple syrup, faint floral notes, ripe banana, black cherry, faint oak. Palate: black pepper, cherry syrup, and Syrah progress to cream and lingering vanilla with a mild oak, caramel, and coco finish and return of peppercorn spice. Oily mouth feel. -

Reviewed October 18, 2017 (edited November 11, 2017)Nose: heavy vanilla, oak, toffee, faint brioche. Palate: caramel, peppercorn, progresses into vanilla ice cream, butter and oak. Faint return of pepper at the end. Smooth finish. Oily mouth feel. -

Reviewed May 11, 2016 (edited September 17, 2016)Nose: peat, heavy iodine antiseptic, charred wood, orange zest, honey, tobacco, kombu. Palate: peat forward with a unique flavor of charred bacon, tobacco, hot pepper, fair orange zest and honey in the background. Oily mouth feel.
