Tastes

Nose: rye, spearmint, faint caramel. Body: thin, light Palate: rye, pine, spearmint, sweet Finish: medium Note: a fun 1010 purchase on a rye picked by michelle. This is a fun and like a spearmint gum whiskey. Its a nice change of pace rye but not a daily sipper for me.

Nose: baking spice, caramel, vanilla, something fruity (green apple?), little chocolate, burnt caramel, plum, dry pine needles. Body: little oily and coating. Medium. Palate: chocolate, baking spice, cardamom, vanilla. Finish: long sweet finish witha sweet spiciness and the a dry pine late late finish. Really interesting. Note: buy from jared. Shared this and highland park 30, THH, old fitz 10, yamazaki 12 and many others. This is complex. Spicy and sweet. The spice is complex with different things going on, not the classic cinnamon spice more like baking spices. Really interesting. Warming. Delicious. I find this to be a super interesting dram with layers of complexity but easy to sip and delicious.

Nose: cherry, oak, old peanut shell, caramel, nail polish remover, oak. Something earthy or herbaceous. Body: medium to full Palate: caramal, cinnamon spice, cherry Finish: medium to long smoky caramel and tobacco (yum yum yum). First sip of the night is just phenomenal on the finish. Note: great purchase from don. This is a really delicious full of flavor easy sipper. Just excellent.

Nose: bubble gum, light carame & vanillal, faint oak, a little dove moisturizing soap Body: medium Palate: early palate sweet caramel, late palate oak Finish: medium to long smokey caramel yum Note: a gift bottle to me from don, cant beat free. Its good, light and sweet

Nose: funky old raisin, caramelly, smokey, dusty older chocolate. Body: medium to full Palate: follows the nose, rich, caramally, smoky. Finish: pretty long and smokey. Note: michigan 2023.

Michigan 2023. Nates bottle at 128.8/64.4. Classic tennessee banana bread, vanilla and a long kentucky hug. Delicious but blew the doors off at the end of the night.

Michigan 2023. This was delicious. The scotch dominated but it had nice bourbon sweetness and rye spiciness.
