Taste: It has pungent honey grahams up front with vanilla and sourdough bread in the finish. It has a light note of green apple and is rough around the edges. More oily and sweet than most Speyside. Look: Light amber Smell: It has a sweet aroma with strong toasted marshmallow and graham crackers.

Taste: Flavor dominated by vanilla. The body is very light and it finishes dry. A little boozy but fairly smooth for a cheap bourbon. Look: Light amber Smell: Straight vanilla

Taste: Strong vanilla with sweet green apple dominates. Rye spice and boozy finish. A little oily. Look: Dark golden Smell: Vanilla and some green apple

Taste: Fairly potent campfire smoke up front, but it finishes very clean. It has a complimentary salinity. Honey and graham cracker throughout with some marshmallow. Look: Deep golden Smell: Pleasant sea salt with some rubber and honey. The smokiness is not as pronounced in the aroma as most peated Islay.

Taste: A big wave of oak tannins and rye spice. It also has pleasant notes of caramel, dank chocolate, and vanilla with a hint of dill. Chewy texture. Look: Dark amber Smell: Strong spice and vanilla ice cream

Taste: It is really heavy on the biscuits and honey. Some warm oak and vanilla in the finish. Some dark chocolate, circus peanut candy, and grapefruit mingles throughout. It has a creamy texture. Look: Dark yellow Smell: Pungent honey and graham cracker with circus peanut candy and a hint of grapefruit

Taste: It hits you with a strong rye spice up front and finishes with vanilla wafers. Pleasant ethanol bite. It has a full creamy body. Look: Amber that leans closer to brown Smell: Oak and vanilla

Taste: Heavy oak tannins dominate the flavor and are almost bitter. Some dark chocolate up front with a hint of char. It finishes with a strong rye spice and vanilla frosting. Sweet with a slick mouthfeel. Look: Amber and brilliant Smell: Vanilla mixed with a surprising amount of floral perfume

Taste: It has a pleasant toasted marshmallow up front. Strong rye spice throughout with some tobacco. It is quite sweet and a little chewy. Overall, it is incredibly smooth. Look: Deep golden Smell: Strong rye spice and some vanilla

Taste: It delivers big vanilla for a cheap whiskey. Some creamed corn and spice that remains pleasant. It has a slick mouthfeel. The finish is quite boozy. Look: Pale yellow Smell: Vanilla and creamed corn
