Sweet pear and light peat with no but in the nose. More pear, faint honey and apple start with a peppery middle and rich smoke finish. One of my favorite Islay's. Somewhat a cross between Laga 16 and Talisker 10.

Aromas of smoke and brine, similar to talisker 10. With a few drops of water, the smoke takes a back seat to notes of vanilla and sugar. On first sip, more peat fills your mouth, but tastes of baked goods and sweetness similar to that of a Sherry finished scotch. More smoke as it finishes.

Campfire and smoked bacon hits you on the nose and fills your mouth. Coffee and a faint Carmel sweetness round out the mouth with flavors of smoke and fire.

Strong aroma from the glass of pepper and campfire smoke, but less pepper on the tongue than the 10 year. Creamy custard like taste with hints of citrus. Bonfire Smoke fills your mouth with a shorter finish. Lacks the earthy tastes of other younger peated malts. Very different from the 10 and 16.
