Booker's Bourbon Batch 2016-01 "Booker's Bluegrass"
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 2, 2020 (edited September 29, 2022)Rested 10 minutes. Served neat in a Glencairn. Nose - plum, cherry, vanilla, a little sting on the backend Palette - gives you this dark chocolate cherry kick, baking spice, oily, coats the palette and makes room for the finish Finish - if there was a chocolate red hot? Lol. I imagine that would taste like this. A nice lingering finish that makes you want more Really great but lacks some complexity that I’m looking for, which is gonna keep it from being one of the best I’ve had. -

Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed November 5, 2019 (edited November 22, 2019)Rested 10 minutes. Served neat in a Glencairn. Toasted brown color. Nose - definitely smells like a buffalo trace mashbill. Vanilla, cherry, caramel, red twizzlers Palette - there’s really no heat at all which is pretty surprising since it’s 100 proof. Extremely smooth and drinkable. Sourdough, caramel, oak, leather Finish - caramel popcorn, leather. Hardly any heat at all Probably the easiest, most drinkable bourbon I’ve ever had. Definitely different than other buffalo trace mash bill #1 bourbons that I have, but definitely has similarities.49.99 USD per Bottle -

Rested 10 minutes. Served neat in a Glencairn. Light brown color Nose - caramel vanilla wood char, raisin, ethanol, a slight bit of candied cherries Palette - woah, very special and really complex. Unlike any bourbon I’ve had. A mix of raisin bread, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon apples, aged oak, in no particular order. Really silky mouthfeel. Finish - a very unique heated finish. Caramel on the backend with a syrupy mouthfeel finish. It’s gonna take me a couple of times to get my taste buds around this one. It has a lot going on, and I can’t put my finger around some of it. But overall, very special, very good. Pretty rich. Highly enjoyable.49.99 USD per Bottle
