You might see this bourbon in First Class on fancy airlines like Emirates and others. It comes in a stately, refined-looking bottle. But, it tastes too much like cough syrup. So, no, I don't get the appeal of this bourbon. I am not so much concerned with how it mixes with other liquor, since I want to have bourbon straight. And, I think that a liquor should taste perfectly fine by itself. But, this one is certainly lacking when compared to other bourbon. Especially since it is the same cost of a much better bourbon like Elijah Craig, or almost the same cost as an excellent bourbon like Knob Creek. That cough syrup taste is there, plus the alcohol taste is more prominent that I believe that it should be.34.99 USD per Bottle

Truly awful! A true abomination when it comes to liquor. How Seagram actually produces this and sells it is a crime that should be punished. The worst, most obscenely peppery taste that you could ever imagine. Swill. Of the worst order. At $11.99 for 750 ml., it is pure insanity to buy this when you could buy New Amsterdam for $14.99 for 750 ml. that is a gin that is a million times better. At least.11.99 USD per Bottle

This is clearly Well Drink level gin. So, I am rating it at that level. It is a good, general-purpose gin that should mix well in most instances. I have had it straight, and it is actually pretty good. Not at the level of Tanqueray, but pretty good. It is priced at half of what you would pay for Tanqueray. But, it is definitely better than that. Actually, it is pretty impressive for $14.99 for 750 ml.14.99 USD per Bottle

Essentially Tanqueray's elevated cousin. This small-batch gin is known for its lime-forward taste. That quality makes it unique and I have enjoyed it when having it. As with any gin, my goal is always to drink a gin that can work by itself. This has more character than regular Tanqueray, so it works better than it does. But, this is priced the same as Hendrick's. And, this is DEFINITELY not at the level of Hendrick's.39.99 USD per Bottle

Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 25, 2024 (edited April 9, 2024)Surprising bourbon that I decided to try. It isn't at the level of something like Knob Creek, but it is very good. A pleasant, subtle scent of barrel. A good caramel taste. It has more of a alcohol taste than Knob Creek, but not overly strong. If you enjoy gin, this bourbon has a nice floral note, which I have not come across in a bourbon before, but it is very welcome. A good, mid-priced bourbon.34.99 USD per Bottle
