Tastes

Smell is a bit of honey, bread, and vanilla. Taste is a touch harsh, but there's more honey and butter in front, a bit of orange marmalade, then adds a bit of vanilla to the orange on the finish. For 35, it's perfectly fine as an easy daily sipper.

Nose is malty slightly bright sweetness with dark stone fruit and maybe a bit of dark chocolate. Taste is some almost burnt toast maltyness with Black cherry or plum, a bit of spice at the end that lingers

Nose is some orange and toffee, with some darker fruits behind. Fairly floral as well. Taste is some pear and honey, creme brulee up front and the Sherry at the end. Hints of honey and vanilla on the finish.

Nose is some light fruit notes, with a big spoonful of honey and a bit of grass. Taste is another spoonful of honey, a bit of apricot, and a whiff of peat. Finish is medium I think with not much spice

The nose is fairly typical, but somewhat light with more fruit like pear and apple than some heavier bourbon. Taste is light and almost tropical, with orange marmalade and nutmeg, a bit of banana. Finish is also light and short, without to much barrel tannin bitter.

Nose is some darker fruit with lots of vanilla. Taste is darker than expected with less bread and light fruit, more dried cherry up front, vanilla and Walnut, and a dried apricots on the finish with some smoke. The smoke is fairly light, just adding a bit of character.

This is not a scotch if you're expecting single malt smells and tastes. The nose is vanilla custard with a bit of honey and toasted coconut. The taste is similar to me, honey sweet, with extra creamy vanilla custard. Finish it's fairly short with some barrel spice and vanilla lingering. Thinking outside the box, being grain and not malt, it has allot of bourbon notes without heavy new charred barrel influence, like if bourbon was put in used barrels.

nose is just a bit different from normal. more wine pushing through with bourbon sweetness at the end. palate is fairly rich, sweet butterscotch and vanilla. finish finally shows the sherry, and only slightly. overall it's a more delicate profile compared to most bourbons and very unique for the money.

nose is a fair amount of smoke, with some vanilla and cinnamon. taste is a good cross between bourbon and peated Scotch. dark chocolate with some citrus, smoke at the end. finish is fairly long and a bit oily. very fun blend.

the nose is kind of bready with maybe some hazelnut spread. taste is interesting, spicy vanilla from the barrels, with a medium light finish that is a bit shortbread like. it's kind of like high West campfire if it had a speyside scotch instead of islay
