On the nose, I get a full, fruity sweetness. Cherry, pears, and toffee. Not anything unusual for a good Scotch. Tasting it... yep! It’s sweet and very well rounded and absolutely beautiful. There’s a subtle smoke on the finish that I didn’t detect on the nose, but it’s a wonderful surprise. Takes you on a ride. I love it.

On the nose: hand sanitizer, perfume, and toffee. On the palette, it’s thin and sweet. Almost artificial sweetener sweet. With alcohol vapors and a stale maple syrup finish.

On the nose, I get apple and pear followed by a hint of beer. On the palette, it’s light and fruity and again, to me, with a light beer note. It’s a bit oily and finishes long with a touch of spice.

Sharp and familiar bourbon stones on the nose. Nice cherry to be found. The palette is nice and rounded and the finish is sweet. Just the right amount of barrel spice. Excellent!

Dry cereal on the nose, but then very sweet and vanilla oak when tasting. Little bit of bitterness on the finish. Great for the price!

A little hot, but with a few drops of water it turns into a beautiful classic bourbon. Dark cherries, vanilla, and wood spice.

Nose: Bitter vitamins, oak, acidic fruit, subtle vanilla. Taste: Vanilla, bitter oak spice, ethanol. Bourbon-like notes, but a little thin in my opinion. Finish: An alcohol taste lingers longer than the flavors. A bit thin.

Cherries, soap, and spices on the nose. It’s a little hot— needs a dash of water. Then, the sweetness comes out on the taste along with baking spices and, oddly... I get Laffy Taffy and chlorine.
  9. Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 010

On the nose: citrus, rubber, and smoke. On the palette: spikes of sweetness and smokiness… turned up a bit higher than what you would find in the standard Laphroaig 10. Honestly, I do find it tasting very similar to Laphroaig 10 but with more heat.
  10. Wild Turkey Bourbon 101

SO good for the price! It’s cereal, black cherry, and honey on the nose. Sweet and spicy on the tongue with a sweet finish. Add a splash of water to tame it a bit.
