Reviewed January 15, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)Smoky and peppery on the nose with a slight seaside quality. With water fruit comes more to the fore. Sweet and oily mouthfeel. Hot, black pepper with smoke on the finish. A bit thin. 84/100. -

Reviewed November 14, 2014 (edited December 13, 2014)Vanilla, chocolate, and leather on the nose. Rich and full on the tongue with more chocolate and dried red fruit. Little spice on the end with a woody, smokey note. 89/100. -

Reviewed November 9, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Sea salt spray, orange peel, and various fruits on the nose. Quite complex. Talisker notes with a bit of peat come first on the pallet. Honey and vanilla wood in the middle. Mid-length finish with a touch of smoke. 91/100. -

Reviewed August 21, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Rich and dense on the nose. Light smoke, pear and cereal notes. Opens up with water to bring out plums, grassy notes, and a bit of salty brine. Taste is spicy without water, oily and smoke at the end. Water brings unripe pineapple, medicinal and tart notes. Salty and light peat smoke at the end. 85/100. -
