Tastes

This is probably a 3.25-3.5, but it makes such a good old fashioned. 2oz of this, 1 tsp maple syrup, 4 dashes black walnut bitters is killer. This bourbon works harmoniously with the syrup and bitters.

Sweetness blends pretty well with the smokiness but this is like drinking bbq sauce i think due to the fruit/sweet/smokey combo, which im not a big fan of. Glendronach is more up my alley for a sherry scotch, and lagavulin is more up my alley for a smokey scotch. Overall good though if I'm in the mood for smokey but won't buy again for the price.

Makes a damn good old fashioned. Good neat too. And easy to find for under $25. Hell yeah.

Nothing special but great value

Usually not into the super smokey whiskeys but this is fine for me if im in the mood. Medicinal/bandaid flavor im not a huge fan of though.
