A nice bourdon. Caramel, orange, touch of smoke. Not too thin, spice is nice but not overwhelming. Easy to drink. If you haven't tried it, you should!

Update from my review of around two years ago. Now it's carried in my local state ABC store at a decent price point. Russell has had a large price increase, while Rittenhouse has had a slight increase. Clove, sweet and spiced. I need a little ice to tame the spice or clove.

For the price and proof, you need to try or keep buying this. If it's cinnamon/rye spice is too big for you, add a ice cube. Caramel, vanilla and a touch of oak and black pepper? Not too spicy and not too sweet. Just different enough from some of the other 100 proofs to be a bottle you go back to every few months.

Great rice for all of the flavors and butter feel. Brown sugar, vanilla, baking spices and hot cinnamon (neat) at the end. A couple of drops of water takes a little of the bite out at the finish. Just right for me. Purchased in state store, Virginia.

If you're looking for something slightly different, give this a try. Creamy,full mouth feel. Cinnamon, a little smoked, toffee with a slight tick up of spices at the finish. At $42.00 in Virginia, not something I'll keep ina collection. Many other bourbon's at lower price point for me.

Found near where I live in N. Va. $33.00. My previous review hasn't changed. Solid Tennessee whiskey. Try all of the Dickel products. You might be surprised!

A very "mild" rye. Great intro to rye dram. A sweet rye, easy to drink neat or will a little water. Very enjoyable and a change of pace. Great value, mild spice, vanilla and caramel. Very entertaining. Under $20. in Virginia

Still a great pour and still less than $20 for a handle bottle. You can't go wrong here.
