    Heavy grape must and sweet fruit, wood and a hint of caramel. Moderately sweet, toasty, woody taste. Dry and slightly spicy. Medium hot.

    Honestly this smells more like rubbing alcohol than anything else. The sugar cane is incredibly faint. The taste is very neutral with minimal sweetness. It’s rubbing alcohol with a dash of sugar cane. Thin mouth, kind of harsh. Cocktails only for sure.

    Right off, a heavy jolt of rye hits the nose, followed by ethanol and more subtle notes of corn, wood, orange and caramel. Lightly sweet and honeyed, and very lightly fruity; very spicy, dry and woody. Hot and spicy all over. Makes a killer Sazerac.

    Crystal clear. Aroma dominated by orange peel, but some vodka does come through. It’s far from complex, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as the orange still doesn’t come off cloying or overbearing. The taste is very sweet, but the high abv and some fair bitterness lend a little balance. Feels thick.

    Strong cucumber nose with touches of lime and vodka. Sweet with bitter citrus peel. Viscous. It smells fresh, tastes cloying and harsh, and then runs thick with said cloying and harshness. A decidedly unpleasant mess.

    Sort of soft smell, corn of course, but also nuts, coffee, brown sugar, wheat bread, caramel, oak and vanilla. Little sweetness; more spice; coffee on the palate. Lots of grain and charred wood flavor. Roasted coffee and cinnamon in a short finish.

    Intriguing bright green that turns yellow around the edges depending on the light. Sweet, candy-like aroma of melon, green apple, banana. Sweet, sugary taste. A lot in common with cough syrup and Pepto Bismol, this needs to be mixed.

    Botanical, herbal, earthy nose-very green and a hint spicy. The botanicals on the back are well blended and even, with a few being mildly individually detectable, but nothing really standing out. So it comes off relatively neutral. Lightly sweet with a good herbal kick to the back of the palate. Solid everyday gin.
