Peat, smoke, and butterscotch nose; the palate isn’t as robust, mostly just some dried fruit, pastry crust, and light smoke; nice, chewy, coating texture; medium spice; finishes with light campfire smoke and red fig; overall a nice islay, but nothing special

Rye spice, nutmeg, dried fruit, and custard nose; huge spicy rye flavor with blackberry pie and nutmeg flavor; rye dry, with a pretty creamy texture, mild burn; finishes with spice and floral notes

Only green apple and pear on the nose; also as poke and pear flavor with a little oak; medium heat, medium recite; finishes clean with grass and green apple

Light nose of corn, dry wood, and paper; corn, oak, not a lot of flavor; dry; signficiant heat; nice medium texture; finishes with some subtle honey and oak; overall pretty meh with not much flavor

Really interesting concept—100% barley malt, but in Coffey stills; faint nose with vanilla, pecans, and a hint of char smoke; mostly vanilla, maple, and oak flavor, but very clean and not very sweet—like a bourbon, but with much more balanced sweetness; finishes warm with smooth vanilla sugar and grassy notes; really not anything like Nikka Coffey grain, but very clean and light

Nice light nose with lemongrass, grass, and faint honey; not a whole lot of flavor, mostly biscuits, malt, and a little caramel; mild spice and slightly thin texture; finishes with some baking spice and shortbread; overall very basic speyside, not bad, not nothing about it stands out

Smoky, nutty, and a little tarragon on the nose; red fruit, smoke, baking spice; finishes with bitter walnuts, oak, and smoke; a little burn; fairly thin; a little disappointing overall given the cost

Pure corn nose. Corn, oak, and caramel; finishes with oak and baking spice; medium spice; thinish texture

Light, corn and herb nose; medium sweetness, corn body with light vanilla and oak notes; finishes with oak and uncured olive bitterness

Huge red apple nose. Corn, caramel, and candy apple; light smoke and hickory finish with oak; smooth, light burn; slightly thin
