Near the top of my bucket list; lots of red apple and some toffee on the nose; mostly poached apple and pear with some fig and walnut flavor; very mellow and smooth; fairly sweet, but finishes dry with poached fruit lingering for a long time; the sherry and mizunara character comes through for sure; lovely, but not mind blowing and surely not worth the price tag in the US; I prefer the brightness and complexity of the 12yr

The nose is nice and actually has a lot of agave, as well as coconut, peat, and a spring day floral/dirt thing going on; almonds, coconut water, biscuit, and oak; fairy dry; long, low burn; finishes with almonds, oak, and light, fresh coconut; overall solid and the peat is subtle and balanced, but doesn’t stand out to me, especially for the price90.0 USD per Bottle
