Nose: hay, cedar, rose petals, spearmint, apple Mouth: black pepper, fig, almond, touch citrus and vanilla Finish: pear, macadamia. The long finish has some spicy elements to it Surprisingly easy to drink neat given that is 116 proof. Adding a few drops of water brings out a pleasant earthiness. Excellent Irish whiskey

Nose: raisins, plum, honey, nutmeg Mouth: orange peel, unsweetened dark chocolate, sugar cane, butter, and almond Finish: holiday spices, butterscotch Great holiday/winter dram

This review is for the second edition Nose: seagrass and slight salt, cherry blossom, peach, and orange peel Mouth: apple, caramel, burnt sugar cookies, molasses, cinnamon, and citrus Finish: spiced apple cider, distant campfire, vanilla, and almond Genuinely surprised and impressed by this, much more complex and flavorful than I expected. Delicate flavors abound, should appeal to bourbon or scotch drinkers

Nose: vegetal, honey/agave, medicinal flowers, straw, butter Mouth: reads boozy/spicy, corn, buttered popcorn Finish: caramel apple, mezcal earthiness Definitely not a typical whiskey, pretty unique. Drank neat, but may be great in a cocktail in place of tequila. Incorporates Mexican flavors and resembles an aged tequila; half way to as mezcal without the smokiness. Could benefit from longer maturation.

Nose: honeysuckle, char, fragrant flowers (rose?), Grass, ocean air Mouth: oak, recently burning bonfire and peat, red berries, dark chocolate Finish: honey, light smoke, hay, vegetal wood Flavors works really well together. Not a peat or smoke bomb as descriptions would lead you to believe. I had high expectations for this, but it exceeded that

Nose: peaches, vanilla, grilled blood orange, sugar cookies Mouth: chocolate, butterscotch, vague citrus and a touch of smoke Finish: cocoa, baking spices

Nose: malt, peach, vanilla Mouth: banana, mango, cherry, sugar cookies, Very smooth finish with notes of banana, mango, and butterscotch

Nose: hay, honey, plum apple pie, malt Mouth: almond, sugar cookies, cherry, strong honeycomb Finish: pleasant sweet potato, stone fruit, cinnamon apples
