    Notes of orange blossom, vanilla, and caramel. Not as oaky as some other bourbons. Not a lot of oak on the palette, either, but sweet and floral tasting. Very good.

    The nose has lots of oak. There are also nice cherry and apple aromas. I taste lots of oak, subtle cherry, and I think, cinnamon. It’s definitely on the sweet side of bourbon, but not overly so. It’s a very good whiskey.

    I get big fruit aromas, like pear and apple, along with more subtle notes is orange. There’s lots of vanilla, brown sugar, and toffee. There’s more fruit on the palette with vanilla and hints of orange. It finishes nice and smooth with just the right amount of spiciness.

    The nose has hints of vanilla and orange. Also present is toffee and green apple. It has very pleasant sweetness. On the palette is a subtle wordiness, with flavors of orange, vanilla, and caramel. It finishes silky smooth.

    The combination of the smoky and sweet aromas smell like walking into a BBQ joint. There’s aromas of salty pork, barbecue pit smoke, and a hint of vanilla. The flavors are smoke, vanilla, and salted caramel. It has a smooth, long-lasting finish.

    Aromas of oak, citrus, and pears. Finishes with more oak wood flavors and citrus. It’s smooth, though a bit one dimensional. Adding a little water brings out aromas of toffee and caramel. Water also reduces the woody flavor, making the whisky taste fruitier and sweeter.

    Woody, with strong oak aroma and cedar coming through. The flavor is oaky, with hints of vanilla. The Aspen staves provide a mustiness that’s actually rather pleasant. It has a bit is sweetness.
