Neat in Glencairn. Nose is mostly ethanol with hints of vanilla and oak. More character on the palate with vanilla and pepper. Thin body. A single ice cube brought out a bit more sweetness and body.

Poured neat in whiskey glass. Nose is very fruit forward but full with baking spices and vanilla. The flavor is pleasantly sweet and warm with ethanol. Lots of dried fruit followed by oak. The finish has a piquancy without the black pepper flavor; more like a Sichuan peppercorn. Quality.
