Nose is floral with a bit of cinnamon. Taste is sorghum syrup with clove and cardamom. Long, sweet finish.

Poured neat in whiskey glass. Nose is very fruit forward but full with baking spices and vanilla. The flavor is pleasantly sweet and warm with ethanol. Lots of dried fruit followed by oak. The finish has a piquancy without the black pepper flavor; more like a Sichuan peppercorn. Quality.

Rested in glass 10+ minutes. Slightly chilled and diluted. Nose is mildly herbal and a bit soapy(?) Barrel character is assertive at first, but an almost acerbic floral character is noticeable throughout. Hints of cinnamon in the finish. Full mouthfeel even with dilution.
