There are moments when an 80 proof bourbon is exactly what you need! This is borbon (caramel, vanilla, and some light brown sugar. Nothing complex and nothing that commands your attention!

This is such an interesting bottle!! There is that Heaven Hill nuttiness (toasted almonds) upfront, but on the mid-palate I get huge coconut cream pie and slight milk chocolate vibes. The finish is super refreshing…It surprisingly has this cold menthol/herbal presence. *Definitely has slight hints of cloce and cinnamon* Let’s just call this the Almond Joy of bourbons!

Im going to keep this simple! This is probably one of the most ‘smooth’ bourbons my palate has had in a long time! Im not a fan of the smooth description, but this is a bourbon I could sip on all day long. It is balanced and complex all the same!

In so many ways this is your standard Booker’s offering.. Full of peanuts and baking spices. But… The end of the palate is so good! It keeps me coming back! I get fall weather old fashioned root beer with the finish! The flavors definitely lingers!!!

Kentucky Owl! I was surprised by how different of a profile this bottle had. I first noticed while the mouthfeel was very young and thin, the flavor boast with lot of butterscotch and candied toffee. The mid-palate was floral and had faint hints of lemon citrus. The finish was short and underwhelming, but I did find notes of baking spcies.

I was personally expecting a bit more from this bottle. Although, I will say the quenessential bourbon notes are widely pronounced throughout the sipping experience. Notes of corn, caramel, sweet vanilla, and oak char are fully represented. Truly a classic and balanced bourbon.

Once again Tennessee whisky shines. *Some people love Dickel and others not so much* The mouthfeel allows for flavors to truly stick to the palate. Im getting loads of brown sugar and sweet granola up front. The mid-palate has hints of leather and rich tobacco which I appreciate! On the finish im getting a lot of oak char, deep tannins, and that charcoal-Lincoln County process is fully represented. On of my favorite Tennessee offerings.

Crazy enough but Tennessee whiskey just hits different! The leather! The charcoal! The sweet vanilla! A bit wildflower honey! Just a lovely easy sipper!

Ill save you the long exstensive explanation! Hands down this is my favorite scotch. It balances every flavor perfectly from the mouthfeel, to the peat, and finally that sweet sea breeze finish.

The tatsing experience is complex and simple all together. It reminds me of that fruit cake your forced to try during the holiday season.
