Theres something about the Weller reserve that is super refreshing. I really like the notable oak presence. There’s lots of vanilla and caramel, but im also getting some good herbal notes and baking spices! Super clean and truly a really good sipper!

The high proof offering reminds me a lot of the lower proof offering. The only main difference is that the oak finish lingers just a bit longer. Although the proof is a bit higher… I don’t get that good bourbon burn I’m looking for!

For this Breckenridge offering the stout notes are there and the proof is just right. I’m getting a lot of milk/lactose sugars on the entire palate. Notes of rich chocolate, toffee, and burnt brown sugar. The oak undertones are nice, and there’s a chocolate ice-cream finish that lingers. *Be patient… Sip three/four does it!* As the bourbon opens up the stout finish comes more to life! Very good pour!

The Breckenridge whiskey is a good entry dram. Very sweet overall. Some of its richness is lost in the youthful undertones. This would be a great whiskey to share with friends and introduce others to the joys of bourbon. Quintessential bourbon flavors: Sweet corn, vanilla, some caramel and a bit of youthful burn to round out the flavors.

If you love rum this bourbon is for you!! The nose is cotton candy and sweet coconut! The sipping experience is extremely silky and the viscosity is fairly rounded. I’m digging the coconut sweetness on the front of the plate. Juicy fruit bubble gum is on the mid palate and sugared almonds on the finish! While the finish isn’t long, the positive is that there is zero burn.

The nose is very floral which usually doesn’t fair well with my palate. A very pleasing whiskey upfront with notes of sweet corn, caramel and hints of butterscotch! And then boom… The mid-plate and the finish presented extreme floral and herbal characteristics. If floral whiskeys are your jam then this dram Is for you!

The perfect pairing for a cigar! The baking spices matched with the vanilla bean sweetness is exceptional! Loads of dark fruits: plum and grapes/raisins. I do get a hint of pineapple on the finish the rum really shines on the finish! *Paired with a Gurkha-Revenant Corojo Aged 13 Years Cigar*

The chocolate is so bold! Reminds me of a bag of chocolate teddy grahams. The whiskey has some major stout vibes with malty milk sugars! I’m getting bits of fiery roasted marshmallows on the finish! Truly unique; going to hold onto this dram for awhile!

A very light mouthfeel on the front of the palate. Some notes of black pepper and bits of cinnamon. The primary tasting notes present loads of sweet corn and hints of hawaiian bread. The finish is very herbal. Not a bad dram, but not something I’d reach for continuously.

Wow! This is an amazing Rye! The nose reminds me of peanut butter and jelly. The totality of the palate from start to finish is complex with some many flavors: rye bread, vanilla, grape jam, peanut butter, mocha latte, and campfire marshmallows. The juice is extremely full and rich. Dark chocolate and mocha linger heavily on the finish! This is a wonderful bottle!!
