Well rounded bourbon. Vanilla, wheat, grain, brown sugar. Good burn on the way down but not the smoothest on the palate. Add some water, oak is drained out with grain and wheat flavors taking over.

Love Whistle Pig. Their 10 is one of the favorites. Nose: Rye Spice, BlackTea, Vanilla, light Honey Taste: Vanilla, Black Tea, High spice Unlike the 10 year this 6 year really throws the Tea flavors at you followed by the classic vanilla from the 10 year we all know and love. Perfect for the price. Highly recommend.

Great light fruity bourbon. Apple fruit notes all the way through. Light spice comes out with some water added.

Nice bottle. Tastes like a combination of the Glendronach sherry cask and Balvenie 14 year.

All i can say is "TRY IT!" This sherry whisky is a top shelf gem. Very balanced with its sherry, nutty flavors, smoke, and fruit. This whisky has landed on my top 3, very pricey though.

This little gem I found was surprisingly excellent. On the nose there were not a whole lot of notes I found besides being salty. However, the taste was bursting with salt, various fruits, and of course the cast strength pulled it all together. The cast strength did not over power the tastes at all, it accented them very well.

High notes of vanilla and very sweet. Not as good as the 10yr or 12 but definitely one of my favorites.

Highland Valkyrie is the whisky to try if your thinking about getting into peat. High smoke notes with a moderate peat to follow. I found light apple notes to finish with a salty settle. Great whisky.
