Tastes

After drinking it neat: Not a particulary good or complex smell. The taste is okay, but a bit rough around the edges. When up for a blend I think I would rather just pay some more money for a decent Compass Box for example.

Tasty. Nice smell. Campfire, smoked meat, salt,...

Very lightly peated compared to other scotch. Spiciness, chocolate, dark fruits, orange peel,... Good stuff.

Decent but nothing to write home about. The spice sticks around, but it's a bit thin.

Tasted this (neat) in Spain as I wanted to try local whisky's. It's certainly decent and for such a low price too. So while for me it can't compete with more expensive international whisky's, in it's own pricerange it probably beats a lot of the competition.

BBQ in the nose, some citrus, peaty, ashy, seasalt,... One of my girlfriend's favorites to sip regularly.

Peat that hits on arrival, but then makes way for salty and fruit flavours. Very nice, leaves you warm.
