    A nice, “classic” peaty Scotch expression, with notes of oatmeal and caramel. Perhaps a touch hot and not the most complex but a very solid whisky I’d be happy to drink more of.

    Not super peated,but has a nice sweet-smoky balance - would go great with a cigar given the ashy undertones but sugary overtones.

    Interesting, tawny-port-like rum with strong raisin/fig and brown sugar notes. The alcohol taste is a bit strong but an interesting, dessert-style rum nonetheless.

    Lots of flavors here, with a a nice char/vanilla smell on the nose with tastes a beguiling mixture of brown sugar, oak and maple. A bit too much of an acerbic aftertaste to everything but other than that an extremely complex, interesting rum.

    Very interesting flavor palate here, with heavy notes of toffee and coffee grounds mixing pretty seamlessly with spicier, peppery flavors that give way to notes of what tastes almost like grape soda coming through at the end.

    A super powerful melange of flavors, with some of the heaviest being bacon, and, especially, smoke. Not extremely oily, but with enough to give it some heft. A really nice long finish. If you don’t like a big wallop of smoke this one isn’t for you, but if you are ready for some big, rich flavors this can’t be missed. Would go great with BBQ and/or a nice cigar.

    Can’t think of a much better gin than this - manages to retain the essential juniper character of traditional gins with smooth fruit aromas and tastes, particularly blueberry, to my taste. And it has a creamy, vodka-like mouthfeel that ends in a super long finish.

    A fascinating blend - a pretty deep gold, with aromas of cedar wood and a dry smokiness. On the palate, some initial pepper leads into more fruity flavors including orange zest with a touch of cinnamon. A very nice long finish with sweet, brown sugary notes lingering.
