Reviewed February 2, 2016 (edited June 20, 2016)Nose: candied orange peel, marzipan, brown sugar, maple syrup, blackcurrant, raisins, chocolate, caramel. Taste: sweet and warm, creme brulee, raisins, marzipan and dark chocolate. Finish: warm, woody, sweet. -

Reviewed September 1, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)Nose: vanilla, pear, citrus, lemon zest, whitecurrant, heather, dried apples, mint, camphor. Taste: dried apples and apricots, hint of creme brûlée, cacao powder, later sage and oaky bitter. Finish: bittersweet, sage, a little smoky, peppery. Overall: fair 90/100, a worthy dram.
