N - cherry, apple pie…. Nose is really nice P - medium mouthfeel, Honey, caramelized sugar, cinnamon, F - slightly sour with a little oak… finish doesn’t hold up to the front end A solid dram. Picked this up in KC at Rieger’s. Loved the distillery and the history. My wife nailed the slide too!

Quick review… Traditional nose, heavy smack you in the face bite on the pallets… cinnamon, some grass, some oak…. Great hot finish that ramps up.

N - good, traditional bourbon nose, nothing overly unique P - light mouthfeel, peppery, F - short finish, starts with immediate oak, chased by some sweetness Just falls a not short on complexity

N - light nose with typical burnt brown sugar scent P - medicinal banana is the best I can come up with, get a lot of oak also, a bit spicy F - a little heat (hotter than the 90 proof), that dissipates and is chased by a mild sweetness from the extra finish Overall, a bit disappointing, especially for a $65 price tag.

Started with antique, came down to this. Not disappointed.

Maybe a second dram will change my mind :) Edit - second dram definitely improved. Just a nice, balanced bourbon nose to finish, with a little heat.

N - deep and dark, but soft; subtle typical rye/bourbon scents P - smooth, medium mouthfeel, sweet brown sugar; maybe a little salty; F - quick flash of oak, then fades to rye on the end with the typical rye spice and burn which lingers A well balanced, hot and spicy rye

This is awesome… every time!

Tasted this as part of a high proof flight at watershed in Columbus. Check the photo for flavor profile BUT crazy smooth for such high proof. Amazing!
