For a low cost scotch, the scratched cask from Dewars is surprisingly good. It's very smooth with a nice dark chocolate covered cherriy flavor profile in the forefront. I'm not a fan of the regular white label but this was a definite pleasant surprise. A great bargain.

This has a really nice, full bodied flavor that has a lot of depth. Roasted cherries and malt are front and center. Highly recommended.

Not very good. Has some off, harsh flavors. Tastes like it has some bitter raw wood sap.

Definitely belongs on the top shelf. Similar flavors as it's younger sibling but very smooth. A long pleasant finish full of classic Talisker flavor.

A tasty rye. The first thought I have is of woodiness and perhaps some dried cherries. Enjoyable.

This is a very good scotch. Vanilla, caramel, and honey are the majors players here. There is a nice smoothness that goes with a medium finish. This is a scotch that I think most would enjoy.

A good, basic scotch for those that like a smooth blend with not much by the way of smoke or peat. Primary characteristics are vanilla, some fruit, and a touch of honey. Similar to Glen Moray. Not a long finish but a good easy drink.

Lots of bite and a long finish. Strong oak character with brown sugar and vanilla. A decent option for those who don't like their bourbon too sweet.
