Willett Family Estate Small Batch Rye 4 Year
Rye — Kentucky, USAReviewed May 30, 2014 (edited April 24, 2018)Wow, Super long on the finish. Grass, anise, charcoal, candy cane, leather and a bit of cinnamon. Reminds me of chewing on a fresh piece of Timothy when baling hay as a kid. A very good whiskey but the anise is a little strong for me.

Woodford Reserve Bourbon

Lagavulin 16 Year

Balvenie Doublewood 12 Year
Single Malt — Speyside, ScotlandReviewed May 11, 2014Nice flavor and smooth. You can definetly taste the effect of the extra time in the sherry cask. It adds a fruity finish.
Weller 12 Year Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USAReviewed April 11, 2014A very smooth bourbon. Very drinkable. Doesn't finish as strong as 46, but very good. Vanilla, oak, some orange peel. I taste the dust in the air at a grain mill. That's a good thing. A light bouquet. I would speculate that women would like this bourbon.
