Reviewed January 12, 2022 (edited July 7, 2023)This is very good, but it might be the only whiskey I’ve tried that I don’t prefer the cask strength. The plain 12 is better. Now that I’m on my second bottle….gotta up the rating. This is delicious. -

The fruitiness reminds me of Green Spot but without the single pot still creaminess. When you learn where the peat comes from it makes perfect sense…it’s understated (more of a seasoning than a main ingredient). I don’t usually think of whiskey as being refreshing, but this is. Nice afternoon pick-me-up.

Reviewed October 20, 2021 (edited November 28, 2022)Mellon jolly rancher and bubble gum on the nose. Follows through on the palate with the addition of cereals and green apple. Overall very fresh and clean.
