A bit of a one note. I prefer more complex flavors, but for those who want a reliable, sweet Speyside/Highland, this is a good offering.

I was recommended this by a friend, but must say I found it disappointing. The flavors are not as well rounded or complex as I would like. Typical Highland notes.

Good whisky, but a bit too sharp on the front end. The main flavor is biscuits and honey. A bit of a one note offering.

Excellent dark chocolate and dark cherry notes. The fruitiness up front is bold, and the bourbon stays with you the whole time you taste. Wonderful, strong flavor.

Another great whisky not spoiled by a brand name. They spend more time making good whisky than good commercials. Full, rich, honest straight forward whisky.

I love the story behind the whisky as well as the flavor. Wonderfully complex, seaside notes that I enjoy, and with each taste, layer after layer reveal a depth that belies the cost. Absolute must have for any Scotch drinker.

Delicious offering, especially for the price. A great starter for someone flirting with peat for the first time. I love the straight up Scotch flavors here. A real classic.

Fantastically complex Islay. Laphroaig is not my go-to as far as Islay whisky goes, but this offers more depth than the 10yr expresion. I would definitely let this settle down in the glass before tasting -- especially when you first open the bottle. The initial impression is very strong, and the extra time to settle in the glass will civilize and tame this impressive spirit.

Good, bright whisky made more for mixed drinks than sipping. Fruity, bright notes make a great whisky flavor that stands out.
