Fresh apples and spicy candle nose. Lingering pepper and spice in your mouth. Light yeasty finish. An easy drink.

The high alcohol content is at the front of the nose but there is a trace of sweet prunes. Take your time with this whiskey. It's very spicy and grabs the tip of your tongue, but the sweetness I find in Taylor is there. Not a flavorful finish but the heat does grab you in the chest after a pause. Very nice.

Not a great nose, slightly vinegary alcohol. Better taste. Notes of spice, heat, toasty oak. This is not a sweet bourbon. The finish is not bad, but a little disappointing.

Sugary oak nose, high alcohol. Tastes of sweet cinnamon spice candies, somewhat oily. There is a lot to like about this whiskey.

Nose is sweet figgy fruit. Very sweet on the lips, taste reminds me of grape soda. Surprisingly not too spicy. Short finish.

Nose is mild and fruity. First taste is berries, followed by spice and ending in a yeasty slightly nutty finish.

Spicy BBQ sauce on the nose. Sweet and spicy in your mouth. Pepper finish. This rye brings home the heat. This is no tame whiskey.

Caramel apple nose. Similar on the tongue. This is not a spicy bourbon, no burn in the throat.

Sweet and fruity nose. First sip brings apples. Sweet spices follow with cinnamon and pepper, slightly oily. Very reminiscent of Michter's small batch bourbon but more refined. This is a solid bourbon.

The nose is mild and sweet, slightly yeasty. Taste is sweet candy corn. This is not a great whisky but under rated in my opinion. This whisky can be had for the low $20's and for the price is a solid bourbon. This is a good whisky to drink on the rocks at the restaurant bar while waiting for a table, at a party, or just relaxing on the deck.
