A bourbon that delivers on its promise with very little drama. Relatively inexpensive, none of the out-of-place flavors that can sometimes mar casked whiskeys. No soap, no turf, but the tiniest bit of smoke and maybe walnuts. Sweet and fruity for a bourbon, it almost slides into an Irish whiskey's lane in the road. Apologizes politely without making a big deal of it.

A dirt cheap and inoffensive daily driver. Goes punch for punch against Jameson and other well-known middle-of-the-road whiskeys and comes out of the ring none the worse for wear. A fine flavor, nothing you'd expect to brag about. My go-to mixer for drinks that call for Irish, where I don't care to waste a good whiskey - surprisingly tasty in tart cherry juice.25.0 USD per Bottle

Not for me. Soapy and medicinal, with grass and moss competing against burnt rubber to fill my nose with their vapors. Somehow the round woody whiskey flavor got steamrolled by the sharp pungent flavor, leaving seemingly nothing but aftertaste. Like if the marching band's baritone sax and high cornet player decided to run Oklahoma Drills during halftime, while the rest of the band looked on in silent horror.120.0 USD per Bottle

It's twice as expensive as "Daily driver" bottles like Jameson but really approachable and almost workmanlike in how well it does everything that an Irish whiskey ought to. Sweet, smoky, some peat, just enough fruit. Punches gently and burns a little, but won't get charged with arson or assault. The high-end Camry to Yellow Spot's Lexus.75.0 USD per Bottle
