Nose: Grassy peat, a bit of sea character Palate: Weak, soft peat, sea character, slightly nutty Medium finish mainly on peaty side

Nose: Oak, some caramel, high alcohol intensity Palate: Oak, smooth texture, medicinal, vanilla Finish: More bitter than expected from the relatively sweet aroma and palate, not so pleasant

Nose: Honey, peaty, sweet. As with many octomores I like the "pureness" of that peaty aroma Palate: Still peaty and sweet, the sweetness rises when it gets to the second and third sip. Strong alcohol sensation.

Nose: Roast nut, vanilla Palate: Smoky wood, some sweetness but not as strong as expected

Nose: smoky wood dominant, some chocolate Palate: sweet caramel, peaty and smoky as always, the label's tasting note shows "chilli chocolate" which I agree is a great descriptor. Strong flow back from throat after swallowing Finish: Lingering on the chocolate sweetness

On nose the intensity is medium, and has wine with red berries characters, peaty like usual bowmore Palate is soft on first second but the strong alcohol sensation quickly comes up, peaty, wine continues to have a strong presence, a little bit of chocolate On finish the alcohol sensation lasts quite a while with the wine taste lingering for long
