I had high expectations and thankfully they were met and exceeded. It’s a good spicy rye in the nose and palate. But then on the finish, the wine cask influence really comes in, and it’s plays very nicely. At the end there’s sweetness that lasts a while. Definitely on my buy list.

Wow. Yum. Lighter and maybe some citrus on nose and palate. Peaty but not a peat bomb. Just really f’n good.

Wow this is a peat bomb. I struggle to pull other flavors but that’s ok. This is delicious. After some time in the glass I smell a bit of cinnamon but that doesn’t register on palate. Delicious.

Drinks way lower than the proof. After few minutes in the glass, nose is standard bourbon. On the palate, rum raisin and other dark fruits. Finish is long and easy. Thanks Nick.

Lots of ethanol on the nose. Port finish really comes through on the palate. Bit of peat and smoke. Quite tasty. Medium finish. $19USD per pour McCormicks Whisky Grill

Wow. Similar to Oogy but the sherry is kicked up a notch or 3. Peat and smoke are there but a bit muted compared to other Ardbegs. So so good.
