Oregon Oak has the highest concentrations of the tannin Vanillin and it shines through here. Mouthfeel: Medium Plus. Nose: Burnt Sugar, vanilla, Mineral. Taste: Medium heat, caramel, cooked corn. A sipper or flavorful cocktail component. -

Reviewed March 25, 2016 (edited April 24, 2018)80 proof entry level spirit. Sits comfortably between the sweetness of Canadian Whiskey and high octane, powerful bourbons. A sipping spirit for sure. Not overtly nuanced on either end of the spectrum. Approachable, enjoyable and appropriate for amateurs and enthusiasts alike.
