A very nice rye whiskey with lingering cinnamon notes at finish. Pretty smooth for a rye. Worth buying again.

While peat is still present here, the peat is not as prevalent as Laphroaig 10. The finsih is a bit more dry and harsh as well. I stuggle to find the vanilla sweetness noted by others. Still, a nice whisky.

This is a sweeter, slightly milder version of the classic Laphroaig. Still plenty of smoke, peat, and iodine. Like drinking a sweet tire.

The nose is a bit sharp with hints of vanilla sweetness. There isn’t a lot happening in the palate. Hints of vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is medium with a mild bite given it’s 100 proof. Not a bad everyday whiskey.

Both the nose and palate are very light. Toffee is present on the nose while the palate is sweet at the front with honey and vanilla. Can’t seem to find the tropical fruits. Very smooth but could use a touch more flavor.

There is a sweetness on the nose that is immediately present on the palate. A nice peppery finish with a subtle candied sweetness that arrives as the finish dissipates.

This one is sweet with cherry flavor near the finish. Nice whiskey

The front is sweet and leads to a mild body. The finish is peppery and a bit sharp. Not real complex.

The nose is sugary fruit amidst a backdrop of smoke and sea salt. The palate is immediately sweet and vanilla before a peppery note leads to wood and a little smoke. The finish is medium, and like the palate, starts sweet before becoming more wood and peat. A very nice whisky.
