Nose: citrus, vanilla, hints of oak, earthy Palate: balanced with spice, I get earthy tones with some sweetness like vanilla Finish: full and long lasting Overall: like the overall line up for Michter’s but this one hits different. Would love a bottle (if I could find it)

Nose: cherry, brown sugar, vanilla Palate: balanced, cherry, molasses, buttery Finish: short on the first rip but long lasting after that , sweet and smooth Overall

Nose: spicy oak Palate: earthy with a good amount of heat Finish: burns, long finish Overall: not bad but not sure it’s worth the search or the price; tastes like a Beam product

Nose: floral and citrus notes, sweet and light Palate: light floral, some warmth in the back Finish: not long lasting with the low proof Overall: very crushable, great daily drinker in the summer

Nose: butterscotch, sweet earthy tones Palate: floral notes, spice Finish: warmth Overall: nice flavor, good bottle to keep on the shelf

Nose: brown sugar, oak Palate: balanced, sweet and smooth Finish: little bit of heat Overall: hard to find, but I really like this bib

Nose: grain, slight brown sugar, wheat bread Palate: balanced Finish: some heat, but not very spicy (like a typical rye) Overall: like this rye, something I’d keep on the shelf on the reg

Nose: fruit (apple), cereal (Cheerios) = Applejacks? Palate: cardboard with spice Finish: drinks hotter than the proof Overall: okay, but not my favorite rye

Nose: slight vanilla, spice Palate: sweet, molasses, oak, something old and dusty about this bottle Finish: not a lot of proof, easy drinker Overall: like this bottle, good stock whisky

Nose: cinnamon Palate: wet, brown leaves; better in subsequent sips Finish: thin Overall: not sure I’d pour this again neat. It’s probably better as a mixer.
