Nose: pumpernickel bread with some sweet butter Palate: bread, very oaky (duh), syrupy but thin Finish: the rye drinks hotter although this is much higher proof Overall: super dark in the glen, but thin (don’t see any legs at all), not a bad pour

Nose: grains, sweet cardboard, hint of berry Palate: balanced throughout, sweet fruit with some spice but not typical for a rye Finish: can’t believe this is only 83 proof, nice warmth in the back of the throat that lasts Overall: great rye that should always be on the shelf…Bmore representing

Nose: banana, egg nog Palate: banana, vanilla, nutmeg, sweet and oily Finish: short Overall: wouldn’t say a must have for the OF lineup, but shouldn’t be underrated: nice bottle and great price

Nose: banana, banana runts, extremely sweet on the nose Palate: really sweet, banana pudding, banana nut bread although not very grainy Finish: below the proof but long and steady warmth in back of the throat Overall: love the balance and the proof point, like a dessert pour but in a good way (ie not too sweet)

Nose: bran muffin, vanilla, marshmallow Palate: spicy, oak, full and balanced Finish: medium and warm Overall: like the bulleit rye more than the bourbon, but the BS is much better in this case.

Nose: like there’s some age, can smell the proof (burns the nose!) Palate: woody on the first rip, some sweetness (maybe powdered sugar), but wet leaves/earth on the back Finish: long and warm, but not burning Overall: some good legs on this pour with dark color, solid bottle to have on your shelf at all times

Nose: leather and fall leaves Palate: malted barley, leather Finish: short, not very hot Overall: nice pour but much more grainy than I remember

Nose: spicy but sweet (hints of brown sugar) Palate: menthol tobacco, nice and balanced Finish: long hug, tight in the throat Overall: new to WT, like this bottle and looking forward to provide tasting notes for the other bottles in their lineup

Nose: sweet like powdered sugar, but acetone Palate: bubblegum, grainy Finish: short warmth, tingly on the tongue Overall: nice sip, reminds me a lot of the Costco bottle but with a little more age

Nose: sugar cookies, leather seats, sweetness like butterscotch Palate: leather, fall leaves, grainy, drinks young Finish: short, not much warmth (drinks to the proof), but crushable Overall: not a bad pour, tough to find this bottle in my market, but would pick it up if I see it.
