Tastes

Nose- so strong vanilla, caramel, and burnt sugars. Taste- immediately bites the tongue with a hot spice and heat, followed by rich oily caramels, burnt marshmallow and some light rye spice. Finish- I'll tell you tomorrow. Pretty sure I am still getting notes an hour later. The sweetness comes through with some oak and wood barrel, it's the definition of rich and sweet.

Nose: fruity and syrup sweet. Taste: bigger flavor than the nose presents, getting caramel, roasted glazed pecans, spices and sweet pears, just a hint of burn at the end brings more spice. Finish: warm spices bring vanilla, darker fruits with cherry pits, figs, raisins and almost some grass notes.

Nose-. Black marker, iodine, meaty smoke, some sweetness Taste- bright fruits, tangy apple skins, hard punch and spikey spices, black pepper then gives way to salty brine, rich smoke, unripe green melons Finish- rich smoke, bits of sweetness fade quick, then it's all salty spray and a very slow fading peat smoke. It's with you for the haul. Freaking delicious.

Nose- sweet but you can nose the proof. Leans into vanilla and caramels. Taste- hot but smooth, lots of cinnamon spice. Finish- Lingers a lot of spice and heat on the tongue. I love high proof but this is more burn than flavor for me. Surprised by that. Maybe an off night. Reminds me of smoke wagon in that way.

Nose- light grasses, rye spice, caramel Taste- sweet with green grasses and earthy notes, no burn but the spice hits with some heat Finishes more spice and herb then mellows into a sweet spun sugar finish

Nose: banana chips, grassy, mint, rye. Taste- strong rye kick goes into more grainy bread, with just enough sweetness to be interesting. Lots of grassy notes. Small sips and lots of air emphasize the notes but didn't bring much else up. Finish- long, sweet, finishes more rye and light mint, with some caramel lightly in back. Not a powerhouse but better than I thought it would be. It's different, great to showcase the grassy herb nots of rye.

Nose- sweet darker sugars, molasses, spices and char, barrel comes softer Taste- spice and heat! Then fades quickly into vanilla and oakey sawdust, slightly bitter note rounds out the swallow. Some leather funk. Finish- oak and brown sugar, baking spices and heat fades out to richer flavors like tanning leather and cherry.

Nose - vanilla, light brown sugar Taste- Sweet, vanilla, light oak Finish- finishes more on the oak with some darker sugars

Nose- grasses , rye, spices, light wood Taste - Nice baking spices, at first lots of spice and heat, but quickly find a lot of nuance. Grasses. Finish - long and spice with some rye finish

Nose vanilla beans and rich deep chocolate are front. Not getting any peat but I just had a pretty peaty whiskey before. Taste - apple skins surprised me with gentle nuts and an gentle oily mouth. It fades into a gentle burn with some spices. Finish - spices and heat on the tongue with some vanilla and caramel smoothing it out. Very faint whisps of peat or smoke with some sea salt.
