Tastes

Some classic bourbon smells are tucked under the dominant sweet corn upfront. Big time corn steals the show, but not dusty or fresh, rather as the name suggests ‘mellow’. It’s very present but soft. Nothing fancy, just tasty. And the bonded proof gives a satisfying length to finish. Not very complex, but very tasty for corn forward fans.

Smells rich & sweet, like honey bread. Very oily, mouth coating. Sweet dark brown sugar, a little oak, & bread. Flavor lasts.

Slightly sweet, lot of oak on the nose. Surprisingly malty smell as well. Sweet malt carries over to the taste, easy sipper. Mid to long finish, surprising for a lower proof.

Soft, sweet nose. Big time sweet corn in the glass with a little sweeter, cherry finish. I’d rank it just ahead of Whiskey Acres bourbon. Very similar, but with the addition of cherry.

Sweet smelling, a little bread to the taste, yeasty in a good way. Spicy for a sub-100

Very fruit sweet on the nose. Classic bourbon profile with cherry & vanilla. A well-rounded palate. Still sweet but the barrel comes in the ground it and the sweetness turns a little floral. The finish showcases more barrel and a sweet, toasted flower.
