The first thing that hits you right in the face is its smokiness. Then after that when the whiskey hits your tongue you immediately recognize its sweetness but it’s unlike chewing a candy. It’s got that right balance and fruitiness. It’s full bodied and I manage to taste some creaminess. Very delicious whiskey. A dash of water brings out a bouquet of flavors and aromas.

The very first note that hits my nose is the intense smokiness of the dram. This is followed by medicinal and charred wood note. Its sweet to taste. It leaves a lingering medicinal note for the after taste. Nonetheless, a very smooth dram. Definitely my new favorite!

I've had the opportunity recently to sample this wonderful dram. First note; fragrant dried spices, palate; sweet toffee and finish; raisin and cinnamon.
