Decent amount of peat, not quite as smooth as Laphroaig but pleasant nonetheless.

Very smooth and sweet, the oak is definitely evident from all that time in the barrel. Virtually no burn and drawn out finish.

Very smooth and oaky for it being only 8 years old. Sweet and dry with a hint of orange.

Vanilla and bananas on the nose. Sweet throughout and a moderate burn unfortunately. Definitely picking up the sherry, but not as smooth as I thought it would be.

The Islay Cask is definitely making itself heard here. This starts out mild and sweet for a moment before descending into quite a lot of smoky peaty goodness. It has a nice drawn out finish that lingers in the best way.

Pretty smooth throughout, you can taste the sherry not so much the bourbon, hint of plums I think. Nice drawn out finish with mild heat.
