Batch 2, 54.65%. 8 years Smoky nose. Earthy and grainy Palette: strong malt back bone, some rye, sweet and smooth for the proof. Dry finish.

115 proof Nose: marshmellow, sweet iak and rye spice Palette: sweet and smooth, not the typical bite from KC. Subtle oregano that is sweet more than spicy. Yummy

Daveco Zulu bottle Nose: typical KC nose Palette: sweet and corn, licorice and rye. Graham cracker, spice, slight chocolate in the finish

Nose: muted baking spices, slight grassy note Palette: sweet licorice up front, more baking spices with a floral note. Slight sweet oak in the finish but not a powerful sip. Well balanced and easy to drink with a slight bite in the finish as well.

Been open 8 months Nose: cherry, cinnamon and oak, sweet vanilla Palette: licorice up front with cinnamon and nutmeg. Herbal and smooth, not sweet, baking spices typical of KC, dry and oaky finish with a slight kick.

Daveco barrel #269, bottle 86 58%. Nose: slight vanilla nose Palette: sweet cinnamon and nutty flavor. Finish is floral and spicy. Slight tannic finish.

Barrel 6184594 filled on 2/16/12 Nose: vanilla nutmeg, some caramel Palette: warm cinnamon, up front, coats the tongue nicely, slightly hot. Mid palette has a nutty flavor with a spice note. Not too sweet but enough to know this is a wheated whiskey. Has some earthy tones to it.
