Sweet nose. (Brown sugar). Citrus with honey, pear-apple notes. Finish with a classic taste of scotch. (Iodine, Sherry, with a bit of floral) Had profile similar to Dalmore. A little bit of water a must.

For a low cost, no age whisky it's a 4 star. If you are used to 10-21 year whisky as comparison,3 star. solid but young.

This is a 3 star whisky, so why the 4 stars? The quality vs cost. Surprisingly refreshing, you can really taste the sherry casks. If you want a n Irish Whisky, for a low price, and don't like peat, this is a good contender. Red Breast, Yellow Spot, Greenspot are of course better, but none can be had for $30-$35.

Solid whisky, good character, worth a try. stood out but not enough to make it a 4 star on my first try.
