Edradour 10 Year The Distillery Edition
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed September 30, 2016 (edited February 11, 2020)Heavily peated, thicker 'oily' consistency compared to ardbeg. A bit of an alcohol bite to it in the finish. a sweet/floral taste that competes very well with the peat. I can easily see why someone would give a 4 star, there is somehting missing from it to me on giving it a distinguishing stand taste. Well worth the try if you like ardbeg or laphroaig 10 year. -
Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year
Blended Malt — Scotland
Reviewed May 18, 2016 (edited June 2, 2016)I have had about quarter if a bottle over a week, and I am not a fan. I LOVE Talisker 10, Ardbeg, Laphroaig, lagavulin, and other peat monsters. The taste here is confusing to my tongue. I like Johnnie Walker Blue, which has a bracing taste. I find Green Label clashing in taste. I may add actual notes, or give the bottle away. Worth a try, but not for me.
