Tastes

Smells herbal and minty. Very floral on the front end. Sweet. The end is less unique than the front. Very obviously a rye. Some will love this. It's like a smoother, thinner (but still creamy) version of some of the hyped ryes out there. 7/21/18

Smells familiar and pleasant. Smooth and sweet, slightly bitter end, which is short. Not too complex. Nothing off putting. 7/21/18

Smells like unbaked bread. Smooth and slightly bitter. Straightforward, very obviously a malt, even if it's a lower mash bill. Maybe some zest at the end. 7/21/18

Smells good... slight honey, vanilla, some herbs, and a strong minty note. Sweet on the palate, the minty note carries over. Slight bitterness lingers. This is light, except for the herbal minty note. 7/21/18

Very fragrant, can smell it just holding the cup. Earthy notes, like mushrooms, truffles, dirt, in addition to the more classic caramel. some fresh linens as well. On the palate, some of the earthy notes transfers. Sharp, some herbal honey, a hint of the standard Beam cherry. The spice lingers but the rest of the finish is relatively short. I'd say this is a success in terms of experimentation, you can tell there's a different grain in the mash bill. 7/15/18

Strange pepper and grassy note on the nose. Wood on the palate, but not as much vanilla until the end. Decentbsweetness, with pepper. Most herbal Booker's I've had. 7/7/18

very rye-ish nose. floral and sweet. vermouth influence. smooth. sweet. this is fine neat, but I think this would be great in a cocktail. 7/6/18

Light nose. Eventually some cardboard. Musty, perfume. Balanced bitterness. Some floralnotes, maybe a bit of leather. Smooth. Short finish. Pleasant. 7/6/18
