Whiskey of the year? Let’s try it! A very complex nose full of different smells: sugar, caramel, butterscotch, oak. The flavor is good. It’s got a lot going on given the 4 different grains used. It’s smooth and still has a solid taste that lingers into a long finish. It’s good. Very good. Whiskey of the year? I’m not an expert but I’ve had better. If you can get this for MSRP, it’s worth it all day. But $300-400 a bottle? Hard pass.

Really excellent. Sweet and spicy. Full of excellent spices and caramel flavors. Solid offering.

I got a Brotherhood of the Bottle Single Barrel pick of this. It is a single barrel through and through. Super rich. Wonderful caramel and vanilla notes. Neat it is really strong and almost overly-alcohol. Add an ice cube an this one mellows out and displays some great flavors. Well worth the $50.

This is freaking amazing. Definitely a mix of a tradition bourbon with heavy rye notes. It has wonderful spice and a sweetness. It starts off very silky and sweet and transforms into a dry spice. It’s so different. And that’s not a bad thing. I love this. I’m glad I had the opportunity to get a bottle. $52 in Michigan 2/18/18

Oily, expensive tasting, loads of flavors dancing on the tongue. Super oaky and a nice long finish. 2/18- $50 in Michigan.

Best Bulleit I’ve tried. It’s a solid offering. Best of the bunch.

Lost by a mile on a blind tasting. Too much alcohol and smoke. Not enjoyable at all and I LOVE the other Taylor offerings.

Won in a barrel proof blind tasting against EH Taylor, Wild Turkey, Bulleit, and Stagg Jr. Sweet nose. Spice on the tongue with cinnamon. Lots of spice lingers and the finish lasts a long time.

Beautiful. Alcohol on the nose but it’s full, oily, spicy, and cinnamon on the palette. Really solid.
