The Whistler Imperial Stout Cask Finish
Blended — Ireland
Reviewed August 18, 2023 (edited August 19, 2023)Starts with a noticable wheatiness, then some more hay, light coffee, dried dark fruit, light cinnamon, then some more hay closer to the finish which is medium length and light on any spice. Its a decent dram, i probably wouldnt be inclined to pick it up again, but it isnt bad. It’s definitely has more depth than jameson or some other standard irish ive had but yet again i think some of the orher whistler cask finishes would have been a better choice.32.0 USD per BottleSpec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods -
There is apple/pear notes, honey, spring flowers, dashes of caramel, cereal then some iodine, the peat comes on pretty heavy, and takes over most of the finish with the exception of a exceptional spice. sweden did well on this one, with it being an intro into high coast, and scandanavian whisky in general. very impressed.55.0 USD per BottleSpec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods

Very unique. A very citrus start that evolves into white pepper with a tang of sweetness, almost corn like in a way, that turns into a long, peppery finish. I would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to try a non smoky espadin at a wonderful price. Good substitute for anything that requires tequila!20.0 USD per BottleSpec's Wines, Spirits & Finer Foods

Oak & Eden Wheat & Honey - Honey Steeped Oak
Bourbon — (bottled in) Texas, USA
Reviewed August 4, 2023Light and open whiskey, nothing overwhelming about this. There is cereal, rich caramel, solid amounts of oak along side some honey and floral notes thats are engulfed by a heavy cinnamon finish. the finish is quite long and medium sweetness. if you enjoy sweeter whiskeys this would definitely be down your alley. Perfect hints of sweetness on this one that arent overwhelmingly rich.
