First tasting of any glenglassaugh but im very much in love. A honey/caramel sweetness with lighter spiced oak elements, tangerine, tropical fruitiness that reminds me of the beach. theres some mild spice, cereal almond nutiness then a dash of minerality. the finish is medium to long showcasing the citrus, mineral and honey. Fantastic dram, a scotch i wouldnt mind drinking in the summers heat

Brown sugar, salted caramel, dry oak, mild mint, some light fruitness akin to apple or pear, mild citrus and pecan. thte finish brings forth more oak, mild rye spice, dashes of fruit and orange peel. this is definitely an interesting blend, and well worth the price. I find it exceptionally easy drinking for 100 proof but also has enough complexity to keep you entertained.

There is mild caramel, mild pepper, herbal notes, spearmint, dashes of anise, dark breadiness, a pronounced fruitiness similar to orange, maybe some prune. The finish has eucalyptus/menthol note, more intense baking spice and white pepper. I enjoyed this rye alot, it has alot of character and quality. the price is a bit steep as id be alot more prone to purchasing around 70 bucks but i wont complain as my fav thing about this whiskey is that the grain is milled by windmills (i just think thats neat as hell). Would reccomend grabbing if you are in the market for a sipping rye

There roasted agave, a slight mineral note, a note of cocoa/lactic/cheesy (best way for me to describe it) that i get with some durangensis and cupreata agaves, mild citrus, vegetal notes and once you get to the end you get grapefruit, sligh mineral and mild mesquite smoke. This would be a good way to get someone into more standard mezcals as i find the smoke isnt overwhelming but mixes well with the other espadin notes. Nice stuff for my first taste of bacanora55.0 USD per Bottle

Some apple, dashes of vanilla, mild tannic oak, brine, lemon peel, and earth. the finish is medium length with a moderate to lighter peatiness, white pepper, and more citrus peel. a little bit lack luster on the peatiness coming from an islay fan but i can see it being a entry into peat as it’s definitely not as rich or robust as an ardbeg or laphroaig.

Creamy Caramel, bannana, cereal and heavy vanilla hit, then comes the mild sherry notes with some red fruitiness and almond, a minute amount of peat near the finish that seals it all up. A tinge of peat for tho just entering peated whiskey or arent keen on it. very good dram for the price28.0 USD per Bottle
